Your time is valued at Barataria Dental. You will be seen very promptly, always seated within 10 minutes of your appointment time and often before your appointment time. Your appointment time is exclusive and unrushed since we do not double or triple book our patients so that we can focus on your dental care..
Our comprehensive approach to diagnosing and treating means that we spend a full hour getting to know you at your first visit. Because we offer periodontal treatment, TMJ treatment, extractions, root canals, implant restorations, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign and dentures of all kinds, you will be less likely to need to see a specialist for dental concerns. Barataria Dental is a general, family, and cosmetic dentistry practice, founded in 1965 by Dr. Guy Ribando. Today, Dr. Maria Burmaster and Dr. Valerie Hemphill carry on their father’s practice, now at Barataria Dental. We are conveniently located in Marrero, Louisiana, and serve the entire West Bank of New Orleans.
Our focus is on providing comprehensive dental care for the entire family, especially patients who have complex dental needs including cosmetic dental concerns and functional dental problems. Drs. Burmaster and Hemphill have extensive post-graduate training in restorative dentistry and treating conditions such as TMJ disorders.
We offer a range of cosmetic dentistry services for patients looking to improve the appearance of their smile, including teeth whitening and Invisalign. More than just cosmetic dentists, our doctors focus on the functional aspects of the smile, to repair any imbalance or misalignment that is causing a cosmetic concern. Both Dr. Burmaster and Dr. Hemphill have obtained AAFE certification from the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. They are trained to provide Botox and Dermal Fillers.
