Barataria Dental is led by dentists Maria Burmaster, DDS, and Valerie Hemphill, DDS. With our dental team, you will receive top-notch preventive care and dental hygiene visits. You’ll also have access to restorative and cosmetic dentistry treatment including dental implants and veneers as well as endodontic and periodontal therapies. We dedicate much of our practice to treating adult patients with complex dental needs and dental anxiety.

What to Expect
Your first visit will include a meet and greet with the dentist and a tour of our office. Dr. Burmaster or Dr. Hemphill will perform a comprehensive examination and discuss your concerns and goals. The dentist will also take a collection of records including dental x-rays, other dental imaging, and dental/medical history. Patients will schedule a second appointment for their dental cleaning.
Based on our findings, your dentist will recommend a hygiene schedule and/or treatment plan to meet your needs and goals.
